Birthdays and impending gloom

Well only 4 days to go as a 30-something. Not really looking forward to my birthday on Thursday as I will be 40, yes 40 seems hard to believe and feels incredibly old, although I don't feel any different to I did when I was 30. Sigh! I guess it comes to us all in the end.....
